Closing Ceremony

The Expedition will close in spectacular fashion with a closing ceremony on Livingstone Island pictured here. Attending the ceremony will be the Expedition Team, Local dignitaries and press.

The highlight of the ceremony will be the unveiling of a stunning commutative bronze plaque tailor made for the occasion. The plaque designed and constructed in the UK by Judy Cowper will be mounted on a permanent plinth and serve as a lasting tribute to the great explorer. Artwork of the trip will be exhibited on the African Queen riverboat, which will take the team up river.
